Do you want to be the face of the company while contributing to a safe and secure environment? We are now looking for a service-oriented and responsible stationary guard with the main work in the reception.

As a stationary guard for the client, you work primarily in the reception where you welcome visitors, handle access cards, register visitors, and provide service to customers, employees, and contractors. You are also responsible for maintaining security on the premises through surveillance, patrolling, handling alarms, and other security-related tasks, as well as providing professional service to customers and employees.

About the position

The client gives us great trust and your work as a guard is important. You contribute every work shift to creating safety and security for the client and society at large, as your work creates preventive protection against crime, improved fire protection, and much more.

Working hours: Daytime

Workplace: Uppsala

Duration: Full-time

Start date: By agreement (We apply a 6-month probation period).

Salary: According to collective agreement

Qualifications

You will meet all citizens of society and it is important that you are clear, calm, and able to make thoughtful decisions. You need to be responsible, solution-oriented, and meticulous, and enjoy working independently as well as in collaboration with others.

Requirements for applicants:

In addition to the personal qualities we seek, you must meet the following basic requirements to qualify for the position:

  • Are trained as a guard (VU1 and VU2 or equivalent).
  • Have turned 18 before starting the assignment.
  • Upper secondary education.
  • Good Swedish in speech and writing.
  • Have good computer skills.
  • Driver's license B.

Merits

  • Experience in reception work or customer service.
  • Experience with access control systems and alarm handling.
  • Good knowledge of English.

You must also be unconvicted*, drug-free, have a sound economy, as well as good health and physical condition to be employed at Avarn Security.

Your personal maturity is an important part of our overall assessment of your suitability for the position. If you lack the prescribed education (VU1 and VU2), education may be offered after an individual assessment based on previous experience and suitability. Guard training (VU1, 9 days) is conducted at BYA Bevakningsbranschens Yrkes- och Arbetsmiljönämnd. Participation in this is a prerequisite for employment.
